A Durham boat model - 2014

This is the third Durham boat model I have made, but the first one at this larger scale of 1:35.

Scale = 1:35; total hull length (excluding steering oar) = 19.75 inches.

Over-all length = 24.5 inches.

This boat was built for Robert Reid to honor his ancestor, George Lightheiser, who was with the Continental Army that crossed the Delaware River with General Washington on Christmas, 1776.
